Na Ying stages solo concert in Vienna

Chinese pop singer Na Ying staged her solo concert here on Tuesday, continuing the world tour performance celebrating her 20-year singing career.

The show was part of her "20 Years of Na" tour. Her excellent performance roused the storms of applause and cheers from the audience in the Vienna Music House.

Before coming to Vienna, Na Ying had finished her performances in some cities scheduled for the tour, including Beijing, Taipei, Tianjin, Macao and Shenyang. The tour would also bring Na Ying to the Japanese capital of Tokyo.

During the performance in Vienna, Na Ying offered hit songs familiar with more than one thousand audience in the concert hall, including Mountain Waterfall, Foggy Flower, Day and Night, Smile Away and Conquer.

The songs struck chord with Na Ying fans from many countries including Germany, Austria , Hungary, Czech, Slovakia and Romania.

For overseas Chinese, Na particularly performed the song of Leaves and Roots, to express the feeling of longing for home.

Na Ying, considered by many as one of the best Chinese mainland pop singers, rose to fame in the early 1990s. She was also called by some critics as an "evergreen tree" in the entertainment circle because her songs had repeatedly topped charts of hit songs.

Before her Vienna performance, she just received China Central Television's MTV Music Award as the "most popular female singer in Chinese mainland."
