The United States will provide assistance to Myanmar in conservation of cultural heritage in the country, official media reported Saturday.
In a meeting between Myanmar's Minister for Culture U Aye Myint Kyu and a U.S. cultural delegation in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday, they discussed matters mainly on providing technology assistance to conserve the palace in Mandalay and cultural heritages, and cooperation in cultural sector in the future, said the New Light of Myanmar.
The delegation was led by Assistance Secretary Judith Stock of the Education and Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Department of State of the United States of America.
