Singer Faye Wong's daughter Dou Jingtong has simply commented "a buddy" on a photo on Sina Weibo, together with an emoticon of a hand gesturing the "ok" sign.

This comment comes in response to reports from last week that she was in a romantic relationship with an American teenager.

16-year-old Dou was sent to study in the U.S. at the end of last year. Recently, pictures of her and the boy hanging out together have surfaced online, including one featuring the boy kissing her head.

Dou Jingtong is the daughter of Chinese rock star Dou Wei and his ex-wife, famed Chinese singer-songwriter and actress, Faye Wong, who is commonly referred to as a diva in domestic media.
