Miss World winner Zhang Zilin got married recently in Thailand, ifeng.com reports.

The report says the wedding ceremony took about two months to prepare for as the new couple were particular about the details of the ceremony, from booking airline tickets to the arrangement of the wedding location. They chose to get married in Thailand because Zhang Zilin and her fiance shared a love of nature, especially the ocean. When they traveled in Phuket Island earlier, they fell in love with the place and decided to hold the wedding ceremony there.

It's reported that Zhang's husband Neil is not in the entertainment circle and is very low-key. Therefore, the couple did not invite any celebrities or media to the event, only their family members and tens of intimate friends.

Representing China, Zhang was crowned Miss World 2007 during the 57th Miss World Pageant at the Beauty Crown theater in Sanya, south China's Hainan province.
