The new Hunger Games movie hits cinema screens across China Wednesday.

The second instalment of the Hunger Games franchise is slated to hit the big screen worldwide.

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" sees Jennifer Lawrence reprise the role of Katniss Evergreen who has returned home after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games for District 12.

But along with fellow victor Peeta Mellark, played by Josh Hutcherson, they are dragged away from their family and friends once again to embark on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. But as they travel Katniss feels a rebellion brewing.

Qu Wanting Sings Theme Song for the Chinese edition of film. At the premiere in Beijing on Tuesday, Qu said why she chose to sing the theme song of the film:

"Lyrics of my song go like this: Love is faith. It brings me strength. There's no other choice as I love you. When love has become faith, one would do anything for love including sacrificing for her beloved. In the film, Katniss holds such a character. I feel honored to sing for the film."
