Chinese actor Guo Tao was accompanied by his son during the premiere where he opened up about the film.
"Telling from materials of the film and its trailer just now. I can see producers of the film have paid a lot of attention to it. It's a great leap that Chinese cartoon films have made. Besides, the film is in 3D."
The film is based off a cartoon television show which has proven to be quite popular among Chinese audiences.
The show tells the tale of two bears, Briar and Bramble, who try to stop Logger Vick from chopping down all the trees.
The film hits screen all across China on January 17th.
