Speaking exclusively to CRI the singer gave the reasons why she chose to release the new version of Embrace on the eve of Valentine's Day.
"Today is February 13th, which pronounced much similarly to "Love for all life" in Chinese. Meanwhile, it is Valentine's Day tomorrow, and Embrace is the easiest way to convey warmth and love between the pair."
Tan's first version of Embrace, which was released last August was produced by her close friend the Chinese producer Liu Zhou.
She said she really likes both versions of the song:
"The two music producers who have different feelings towards this song generate different interpretations based on their orient and occident cultural background respectively. The two versions provide me with a special feeling in it."
