Taiwan-born actor Alec Su sings "God Has Eyes," the theme-song for the film, "Sweet Alibis," in which he stars.
Talking about the song, Su said it delivered positive energy. He said, "It's called 'God Has Eyes.' I sang it in an ancient and unique style. I believed it would be cool. It matched the film perfectly and delivers positive energy."
Su plays the role of a timid policeman in the film that is always looking to escape from important tasks and is content with being idle. Su admitted that it took some time before he took to the character he was playing.
"When I first read about my role, I thought it was lame; it wasn't attractive at all. But later I realized that the role was what I wanted. I wanted a change and was glad to act as an unsuccessful policeman. I don't want to be type-cast. I hope I can impress audiences and show that I was devoted to the part. All the habits of playing it cool and 'shining' when the camera is on are not in this role. Instead, I'm a down-trodden policeman."
Since its release on March 7th, the film has generated 30 million yuan at box offices.
