As part of the press release for the event, Zhang introduced the functions of the company's new chatting robot "Xiao Bing", which can take part in conversations in WeChat groups.

The robot can also be used to search information and enliven the atmosphere during human-to-computer interaction.

Currently Microsoft is allowing 100,000 people to test the "Xiao Bing" robot software. Netizens can experience Xiao Bing's interesting functions by adding her as a friend and dragging her into a WeChat group.

As part of the promotion, famous cross talk performer Yu Qian has accepted "Xiao Bing" as his apprentice. Yu has given the robot the stage name "Qi Bing", and will instruct her in her language style.
