About Lone Scherfig:
Born on May 2, 1959, Lone Scherfig is a Danish film director who is critically acclaimed for several of her movies, including her Oscar-nominated film "An Education." Her movies are generally romantic comedies and her best-known films include "Italian for Beginners" in 2000, "Wilbur Wants to Kill Himself" in 2002, "Just Like Home" in 2007, "An Education" in 2009 and "One Day" in 2011."
