About Sally Potter:

Charlotte Sally Potter, born on Sep. 19, 1949, is an English film director and screenwriter. Her best-known films include "The Gold Diggers" in 1983, "Orlando" in 1992, "The Tango Lesson" in 1997, "The Man Who Cried" in 2000 and "Yes" in 2004. She was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the British Queen's 2012 Birthday Honors for services to film.
