Director Ang Lee is set to present a keynote address at the annual cinema technology summit-NAB Show held in Las Vegas next month.
The renowned director also plans to unveil screen footage from his upcoming film "Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk" for the first time in its intended 4K, 3D, 120-frames-per-second format using a dual laser projection system.
It is the first major motion picture to have been captured in this technology as movies are generally shot at 24 frames per second.
"Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk" is about an infantryman who partakes in a halftime show on Thanksgiving before being redeployed to Iraq.
It stars Vin Diesel and Kristen Stewart.
It's slated to hit US theaters on November 11.
