A new concert tour is in store from Hong Kong pop icon Jacky Cheung.

The tour is the first in five years for Cheung, who celebrated the 30th anniversary of his first album last year. The singer is calling his upcoming performances "A Classic Tour," which will showcase some of his best works from a prolific career.

Given his vast catalogue of songs, one can only imagine picking a set list will not be easy for the veteran singer.

Cheung's achievements in pop music and entertainment have put him in a rare category of stardom. He, along with Andy Lau, Aaron Kwok and Leon Lai Ming, have long been grouped together and carried the nickname of "Four Heavenly Kings" in the Chinese entertainment industry.

The 55-year-old singer is showing no signs of slowing down, however.

Cheung's last world tour five years ago spanned across 18 months with 146 shows in 77 cities. He even broke a Guinness World Record, attracting over two million concert goers in a 12-month period, the most for any performer.

Jacky Cheung's "A Classic Tour" will kick off on the mainland with 3 shows in Beijing, starting October 21st.

The tour is likely to repeat Cheung's previous success, with tickets for all 3 shows already sold out.

Other stops will include Chongqing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou Wuhan and Shanghai.
