4th Zhongguancun Science and Education Tourism Festival [File photo]

Time: June-August

The 4th Zhongguancun Science and Education Tourism Festival, to be held between June and August, offers visitors great opportunities to explore state-of-the-art technology at some of the top-notch high-tech firms and scientific research institutions in Beijing's Haidian District, where Zhongguancun, China's high-tech hub, is located.

Tour routes will also be on offer to visist the leading higher-educational institutions, such as China's prestigious Peking University, Tsinghua University and Renmin University.

Tourists will certainly have great fun in Haidian, one of the capital city's most important tourism destinations, which boasts some of the world's most famous gardens, including the Summer Palace and Yuanmingyuan.
