Spring Festival is a favorite holiday in many countries now as more and more Chinese people work and live abroad. The Chinese New Year has been made a legal holiday in the United States, the Philippines, Singapore, Paris, London and several other countries and areas. Lion and dragon dances are performed in Los Angeles' Chinatown around Spring Festival. Moreover, countries learn about and from each other through such activities.
