Zhang Jing, born and raised in Hangzhou, east China's Zhejiang Province, was admitted to China Foreign Affairs University and employed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2007. She became well-known to the public after she interpreted during the press conference of the two sessions in 2010 partly because of her professionalism and partly due to the fact that she resembles Zhao Wei, a very famous entertainment celebrity in China.
