Suona player's nose is music to people's ears
Adjust font size:

Most people play the suona horn (Chinese oboe) using their mouths but Lin Feilai is getting attention in Leizhou city, Guangdong Province, because he uses his nose.

No one in the area has reportedly ever played the Chinese brass trumpet-like wind instrument using a nose.

Lin, in his 50s, is a farmer who was born into a family of suona players and has practiced playing the instrument for several decades.

Lin frequently demonstrates his special skill as part of a Leizhou opera troupe that perform in villages and townships.
