Car Collision Kills Five, Injures Two in Zhejiang

Five people were killed and two others injured in a traffic accident in east China's Zhejiang Province on Sunday, police said on Monday.

The accident occurred at an intersection in a downtown area of Ningbo, a major port city in Zhejiang, at around 11 PM on Sunday when a Toyota sedan crashed head on into a Santana carrying five people. The five passengers in the Santana died at the scene, police said.

The Toyota collided with a taxi right after its collision with the Santana, injuring two others, the police said.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
