China's disaster-affected population reached 45.809 million in June, with 283 dead and 39 missing, the Ministry of Civil Affairs said on Wednesday.
In the same month, 2.769 million people were relocated. In addition, the area of damaged crops reached 8,541,300 hectares. The number of collapsed houses was 4.144 million, the ministry said on its Website.
All these damages resulted in an economic loss of 1.65 billion yuan (about 241.43 million U.S. dollars).
