Some singers and actors who were unable to attend the event had prepared a short video clip asking the public to support the post-quake rebuilding.
The charity performance raised 30-million Hong Kong dollars.
Also on Sunday afternoon, several hundred Hong Kong residents from various sectors observed three minutes of silence in honor of the quake victims. They also donated over two million Hong Kong dollars.
The special administrative region has raised over two billion Hong Kong dollars. 95 percent of respondents in a local survey said they had made donations. And over 90 percent said they would make further contributions.
In the US northwestern city of Seattle, Chinese people residing in the US as well as Americans held a charity performance on Saturday to benefit quake survivors.
They expressed their sympathy and support through songs and poetry recitals.
