Chinese masters of music Law Dai Yau, Jonathan Lee and Chow Wah Kin might be sharing the stage at the 19th Golden Melody Awards ceremony in Taipei next month.
Chinese music masters Chow Wah Kin (L) and Jonathan Lee.
Sohu.com reported on Friday it would be a very rare opportunity for the three masters to perform together in the same city where they began their musical careers more than two decades ago.
They were asked to perform at the closing ceremony because of the deep influence they had on the development of Chinese music.
The three musicians first sprang on the music scene in the 1980s and have since extended their musical careers from Taipei to all of China.
The organizers of the ceremony are making a great effort to work through scheduling difficulties in order to pull of this super event.
The three have held discussions in Taipei to discuss the performance and Law's song "Home" and Lee's "I Am A Little Bird" have been chosen for the performance.
The Golden Melody Awards have been held each year in Taipei since 1990. This year's ceremony for pop music will be held on July 5th.
