Year-round Ice Sculpture Hall to Open in Harbin

The world's largest indoor ice sculpture exhibition hall was recently built up in this capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province known as China's "ice city."

The exhibition hall, covering a total area of 5,000 square meters and consuming 2,000 cubic meters of ice, has created a perfect summer resort for both local residents and tourists.

The sculptures on display include a 6-meter-high Temple of Heaven and a 120-meter-long Great Wall.

It is learned that the building, at a cost of 11 million yuan, will be open to the public year-round, but the sculptures on display will change annually.
