Twins Effect II Premieres in Beijing

The new movie Twins Effect II is set to be a hit, thanks in no small part to the presence of Jackie Chan's son, Jaycee Chan, who plays the lead role.

The highly anticipated Twins Effect 2 made its premiere in Beijing this week. Jackie Chan was absent, and Jaycee Chan was late because of visa problems. But surprisingly, Jackie Chan's father was there at the premiere.

"Twins Effect 2-The Huadu Chronicles: Blade of the rose" is set in Huadu, an ancient land ruled by a cruel empress where men are subservient to women. Jaycee Chan plays the lead character, Char. He and his adopted brother, played by Berlin Chan, hit the road with their adopted father, played by Tony Leung. Soon two beautiful girls, played by the Twins pop duo, join the boys on their journey.

After the premiere, the film's stars went to Beijing's Huaxing Movie City to meet audiences.
