Chinese actress and director Xu Jinglei has been invited to sit on the jury of this year's Thessaloniki Film Festival in Greece, which opened on November 17.

22 Chinese movies will be screened at a special screening out of competition named Alternative Perspective.

Xu's three films including Dreams May Come, I Love You and The Train Heads to Spring, are among the screening list. 　　

The Thessaloniki International Film Festival has become the Balkans' primary showcase for the work of new and emerging filmmakers as well as the leading film festival in the region. The event features an international section, a panorama of Greek films, the New Horizons program, the Balkan Survey and numerous retrospectives and tributes to leading figures in the world of film.
