Weekly Weather Forecast (May 23 to 29)

Northwest China: May 23 to 24, affected by streams of cold air, northern Xinjiang will see light rainfall with force 4 to 6 northerly winds; southern Qinghai and southern Gansu will receive light rain and the Hexi Corridor dust winds. May 25, eastern sections will have light to moderate rain. May 26, most of the northwest will be sunny to cloudy. May 27 to 28, affected by another stream of cold air, northern Xinjiang will receive light rain. May 29, eastern parts will get showers or thundershowers.

 

North China: May 23, most of the region will see sunny skies. May 24 to 25, northernmost parts will be overcast with showers or thundershowers, while some central and western areas of Inner Mongolia will see dust winds, accompanied by force 4 to 5 southerly or northerly winds throughout most of north China. May 26, most parts will be cloudy with showers or thundershowers expected in some central and southern areas. May 27, most of the region will be under sunny skies. May 28 to 29, affected by streams of cold air, most will be cloudy with possible thundershowers.

 

Northeast China: May 23, eastern Jinlin and eastern Liaoning will see light rainfall, then become overcast. May 24, most of the region will be cloudy to sunny. May 25 to 26, most will see showers or thundershowers from west to east. May 27 to 28, most of the northeast will be sunny to cloudy. May 29, western and northernmost parts will have light rainfall.

 

Central China: May 23, southern Hubei and Hunan will see light to moderate rain with heavy rain in most of the region. May 24 to 25, most parts will be cloudy. May 26 to 27, southern Hubei and Hunan will get light rain. May 28, most of the region will experience light to moderate rain with heavy rain to storms expected in some areas. May 29, central and southern parts will have light rain.

 

East China: May 23 to 24, southern Jiangsu and Anhui, Jiangxi, Zhejiang and Fujian will get light to moderate rainfall with heavy rain expected in southern Jiangxi and some of Fujian. May 25 to 26, most of the region will be sunny, partly cloudy. May 27, Jiangxi and southern Anhui will be overcast with light rainfall. May 28 to 29, most parts will have light to moderate rain with heavy to stormy rainfall expected in some places.

 

South China: May 23, most of the region will be cloudy while southern parts will get hot weather with temperatures up to 35 Celsius degrees. May 24, most parts will experience showers or lightning showers. May 25 to 26, some western and northern portions will have showers or thundershowers. May 27 to 28, most will be sunny to cloudy, while southernmost portions will be hot with temperatures reaching 35 Celsius degrees. May 29, northern parts will meet showers or lightning showers.

 

Southwest China: May 23 to 24, east Tibet and eastern areas of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau will be overcast with light rain. May 25, most eastern parts will see light to moderate rainfall. May 26 to 27, eastern sections of the Sichuan Basin and eastern parts of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau will continue to be overcast with light rainfall. May 28 to 29, most of the southwest will be sunny, partly cloudy.
