The Macao International Airport is to handle 4.2 million passengers and 224,000 tons of airfreight in 2005, the largest recorded throughput in its 10-year history.
Deng Jun, board chairman of the airport, Thursday told a celebration marking the 10th anniversary of the airport that the income of the year will also hopefully break the record but failed to number the income prediction.
The airport is currently recognized as one of the top Asian airports, Deng boasted.
Edmund Ho Hau Wa, chief executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR), and He Xiaowei, deputy director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the MSAR, attended the ceremony.
