One was killed and 22 others injured Monday in a bus-train collision at a railway-road cross in northeast China's Liaoning Province, local railway officials said.
The accident occurred at 7:17 a.m. Monday when a bus that was to pass the cross collided with a running cargo train at Shuijiatun in the Hunnan New District of the provincial capital Shenyang, said the railway officials.
A passerby was killed on the spot in the accident, and 22 passengers on bus were injured, local hospital sources said.
All the injured have been rushed to the local hospital for treatment and are in stable condition, the hospital sources said.
The railway resumed operation at around 9 a.m. Monday morning.
The cause of the collision is being investigated.
