Macao to Showcase Tourism Charm on Thai TV

Macao, as one of Asia's travel destinations, will be showcased to the Thai TV audience in September, according to a press release issued on Sunday.

The release from the Macao Government Tourist Office (MGTO) said the region is to display its tourism selling-points on the Spirit of Adventure, Thailand's popular television travel program.

"In the program, I will take the spectators in a discovery of Macao, showing that there's not only casinos in the city. It is an easy destination to visit through short and cheap flights," says the TV anchor Jongkolnee Satiraassavanant.

The 30-minute program aired every Sunday on the Thai television channel-5 has an audience of around one million.

The program was produced in a bid to show new travel destinations and help create new travel tendencies for the Thai people, said the release.
