A cold front will sweep central and eastern China in the coming two days, dragging temperatures down at least four degrees Celsius, China Meteorological Administration (CMA) forecast Thursday.
Temperatures in the eastern part of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, most of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the western part of northeastern China are expected to fall up to 10 degrees Celsius during the next two days, CMA said.
The cold front will continue to move southeastward after sending temperatures down by as much as 12 degrees Celsius on Saturday in some regions of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, north and northwest China, it said.
Moderate rainfall, brought by the cold front, is expected to hit most parts of central and eastern China.
