An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted Halmahera, Indonesia at 16:40:02 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 33.60 km, was initially determined to be at 0.6722 degrees south latitude and 127.6805 degrees east longitude.
