South Korea's health authorities on Monday confirmed one more case of Influenza A/H1N1, raising the number of confirmed cases to 48 in the country.
According to the nation's Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs, a 28-year-old man, recently back from his business trip to New York on Sunday, showed flu-like symptoms, and, accordingly, was quarantined at a state-designated hospital.
Earlier on Sunday, South Korea reported a 25-year-old South Korean woman who recently returned from China has contracted the new type-A flu.
With the recent cases, South Korea's A/H1N1 flu confirmation toll stands at 48 as of Friday afternoon.
Of the total cases, six still remain under close observation in isolated hospitals with the rest being released in good health.
No death case has been reported in South Korea due to the A/ H1N1 flu.
