Wu Guanzheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Political
Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China
(CPC) met in Beijing Tuesday with Miroslaw Sekula, president of the
Supreme Chamber of Control of Poland.
Wu, also secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline
Inspection of the CPC, said China and Poland enjoy a traditional
friendship.
In recent years, cooperation between the two countries in all
fields has gained notable results, he said.
China is willing to work with Poland to enlarge the practical
cooperation and push friendly cooperative partnership forward, Wu
said.
Wu briefed Sekula on China's political and economic situations
and its efforts on anti-corruption.
China attaches great importance on international cooperation in
the field of anticorruption, he said.
"It is ready to enhance exchanges and cooperation with all
countries, regions and related international organizations on the
basis of equality and mutual respect."
Sekula said Poland is willing to further cooperation in fields
such as anti-corruption and environment protection supervision with
China.
He said the two sides should enhance exchanges and learn from
each other to contribute to the development of each country.
Sekula is here at the invitation of the Ministry of
Supervision.
He attended the China-Poland workshop on environment protection
supervision on Tuesday morning.
