Five persons were killed in a missile attack in Pakistan's tribal region on Thursday, private TV channel DAWN NEWS reported.
Three missiles were fired from drone at Lamman village in South Waziristan tribal region bordering Afghanistan, leaving five persons dead, said the report.
A suspected United States drone fired three missiles in the area and one hit a vehicle in Lamman village, according to DAWN NEWS.
It is still not known whether the other two missiles launched by the drone have caused any casualties.
Pakistan's tribal areas bordering Afghanistan have witnessed a string of cross-border missile attacks by U.S. drones. Pakistani government has called for a halt to such attacks, terming them counter-productive in the fight against militants in those areas.
