To travel with your pet by plane

If you choose to travel with your pet by plane, you should adopt the following procedures.

Firstly, when you book your air ticket you should check whether your flight offers a carriage of pets service, and request the carriage of pets service in order to get a cabin seat for your pet.

Secondly, you should take your pet to the animal quarantine station in your district to get animal quarantine certification and pet cage disinfection certification two or three days in advance.

Then you take your pet and the above two certifications, plus pet health certificate, to the Capital Airport animal quarantine monitoring station to get confirmation of registration.

Finally, you should come to airport at least two hours in advance to deal with baggage procedures, bringing your ticket.

Attention:

1. You should buy a proper box for your pet in a pet store in order to make sure your pet will be comfortable on the air journey.

2. "Pets" comprise domestic dogs, cats. Wild animals, odd animals or dangerous animals which the country forbids are not included. The pet may also be rejected for transportation if it is pregnant or was born within the preceding 48 hours.

3. Passengers themselves are responsible for checked pets and assume all risks of injury, sickness or death of pets.

4. Costs are calculated according to the pet's weight and the voyage.

5. Do not feed the pet for ten hours before boarding.
