The Dutch men's Olympic soccer team will play three friendlies to prepare for next month's Olympic Games in Beijing.
Dutch coach Foppe de Haan is set to announce his final 18-men squad on July 23 after a three-day pre-Olympic Games training camp in Oisterwijk, southern Holland, according to Dutch media reports on Tuesday.
On July 23, the Dutch squad will travel to Ghent, Belgium, to play a friendly against Belgium, who have also qualified for the Beijing Games.
On July 26, the Dutch side will head to Hong Kong, China, where they will take part in the July 26-Aug 3 ING Cup tournament as their final preparations for the Olympic Games. They will meet Cameroon on July 30 and face Cote d'Ivoire on Aug 2.
On Aug 3, the Dutch team will fly to Tianjin, where they play their first two group stage matches at the Olympic Games.
The Netherlands are drawn alongside Nigeria, Japan and the United States in Group B. They will face Nigeria on Aug 7 and meet the United States three days later.
The Dutch men's soccer teams have so far grabbed three Olympic soccer bronze medals at the 1908, 1912, and 1920 Games respectively.
