The Olympic Village in co-host city Shenyang greeted the DPR Korean women's soccer team, the current Asian champions, on Wednesday afternoon.

The 26-member delegation including 18 female footballers arrived at Shenyang Taoxian Airport at around 12:00 a.m. local time.

Two Olympic Passages were opened, and it took only three minutes for the whole team to go through all the procedures and leave the airport. When the DPR Korean players with red T-shirts got on the limousine, they smiled and waved to the crowd.

The Shenyang Olympic Village is ready to provide Korean food and interpreters with the guests.

On Aug. 6, DPR Korea will play African champions Nigeria in their first group match at the Beijing Olympics. Then DPR Korea will meet the 2007 World Cup champions Germany and runners-up Brazil. The group is branded as Group of Death.
