The Olympic torch relay began its run through Zhengzhou, the capital city of Central China's Henan Province this morning. Henan is the fifth and final leg of the torch relay before the flame reaches Beijing.
The relay started at the the Henan Art Center. The first torchbearer was Zhang Rongfang, a former captain of the National Women's Volleyball Team. 208 torchbearers participated in the 7.6 kilometer run that covered spots of interest including a Shaolin Temple and the Henan Museum.
The relay ended at just past 10am at the International Conference Center. The last torchbearer was Wu Jiangxing from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, who lit the Olympic flame cauldron.
