Kaka's left foot injured but not broken
Adjust font size:

Brazilian midfielder Kaka suffered a serious injury on his left foot in AC Milan's 1-1 Serie A draw with Reggina on Saturday but the foot is not broken, AC Milan said on Sunday.

However, Kaka looks almost certain to miss Brazil's friendly with Italy on Tuesday and local media said he was a big doubt for next Sunday's derby with Inter Milan.

"Kaka reported a trauma to his left foot. The checks made after Milan-Reggina did not show any kind of fracture," Milan said in a statement after the player underwent tests at hospital.
