In the Rio de Janeiro leg of the 2010 FINA Swimming World Cup, Brazil's Cesar Cielo proved his favoritism on Sunday by winning the gold medal in the 50 meters freestyle.
With a time of 21.16 seconds, Cielo beat his closest rival, Germany's Steffen Deibler, by 0.07 seconds.
Brazil's Nicholas Santos finished in third place winning a bronze medal in 21.76 seconds.
