Argentina captain Javier Mascherano said on Friday that the players must "have a cold bath" to cool the illusion that their fans have for their performance at the World Cup of South Africa 2010.

"We know how the Argentine people express and we go from one side to another very fast. That is why we have to give a cold bath to all this and should be calm, because we have won only two matches, which are not enough yet to get the ticket for the next round," he said.

During a press conference in Pretoria University, Mascherano said "we are living in a very balanced World Cup," and "one cannot be relaxed because any team with good tactics will win you."

"We are happy for the two important victories, knowing that we have to reaffirm the positive aspects and it is important to continue growing," Mascherano added.

He also said he does not know if he will play on Tuesday against Greece, because if he get a yellow card, he will miss the following match.

"The coach (Diego Maradona) decids whether I play or not, perhaps the rule changes, if I get a yellow card in the next round I cannot play in quarter finals," Mascherano said.

However, "we do not have the ticket yet, and the coach will decide who are the ones to play," he said.

Mascherano said the team "can improve much more" and requested not to underestimate any rival because "it is not easy to win over any team."
