Olympic champions Usain Bolt and Jessica Ennis headline the winners of the 2013 Laureus World Sports Awards named at a globally televised Awards Ceremony in Rio de Janeiro.
Bolt has won his third Laureus Award after another dominant Olympic performance on the track at London, winning the gold in the 100, 200 and 4x100-metre relay.
The Laureus World Sportswoman of the Year Award went to Ennis, who carried the hopes of the British nation in London.
The European Ryder Cup team has been rewarded for its remarkable rally against the US at Medinah.
British tennis star Andy Murray's first ever Grand Slam victory, at the US Open, plus an Olympic gold and silver medal in the singles and mixed doubles in London, made him the winner of the Laureus World Breakthrough of the Year Award.
Austrian skydiver Felix Baumgartner was the winner in the action category after becoming the first skydiver to go faster than the speed of sound. Brazil's Daniel Dias won the disability award.
