2. Marion Jones
The track star won three gold and two bronze medals at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, becoming the first female track and field athlete to win five medals at a single Olympics.
However, those medals were taken away after Jones admitted to taking steroids before the 2000 Olympic games, then lying to federal agents about her drug use. She was sentenced to and served six months in jail and a two-year suspension from competing in track and field. Jones retired from track and field in 2007. After serving her prison sentence in 2008, Jones traded track for basketball.
