The visiting English premier football club Chelsea defeated Indonesian All Star team 8-1 in a friendly match held in Indonesia's landmark stadium Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Senayan on Thursday.

Chelsea was apparently too tough for the Indonesian as it scored four goals in the first half and scored four more goals in the second half.
The only goal for Indonesian team was a Chelsea's own goal (OG) following a fierce attack conducted by Indonesian naturalized player Greg Nwokolo in the second half.
The acclaimed coach Jose Maurinho, who had just hired back by Chelsea after his long-time service with Spanish premier club Real Madrid, deployed prominent players including John Terry, Michael Essien, Demba Ba, Romelu Lukaku and Edin Hazard in the match that televised nationwide.
Chelsea's visit in Indonesia was part of its pre-season Asian tour conducted prior to the commencement of English football league.
Before visiting Indonesia, the English premier league giants visited Thailand and Malaysia and won the matches against their national teams 1-0 and 4-1 respectively.
Before Chelsea's visit, Indonesia also hosted friendly matches with other English premier football clubs Arsenal and Liverpool in their recent Asian tour programs. Indonesian team was defeated 7-1 and 2-0 respectively in matches held in the same stadium.
