Inter should challenge for Scudetto, says Zanetti

Inter captain Javier Zanetti said Wednesday that he is expecting a competitive Nerazzurri who should challenge for the new season's Serie A title.
"We are obliged to return to the summit. Inter should be a club challenging for major honors," Zanetti told Inter Channel.
Inter finished ninth last season and will miss out on European football, and Zanetti believed that it could serve as a blessing in disguise.
"In a certain sense, it could be an advantage not to be playing (in Europe) during the week so we can work hard between one game and another," he said.
