Italian Serie A champion Juventus coach Antonio Conte ended his contract with the club by mutual consent on Tuesday.

Conte led Juventus to three Serie A titles since he took over in May 2001.

The 44-year-old former Juventus midfielder would not reveal where he is headed next.

Possible replacements could include former Inter Milan and Manchester City coach Roberto Mancini or ex-AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri.

As Italy made a first-round exit from the World Cup that concluded on Sunday, the job of Italy national team coach is open after Cesare Prandelli resigned.
