Murray outclasses Tsonga to set up Djokovic clash

Eighth-seeded Andy Murray of Britain defeated No. 9 seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga from France 7-5, 7-5, 6-4 on Monday to book a quarterfinal meeting with Serbia's world No. 1 Novak Djokovic at U.S. Open.

It was Murray's first top 10 win for more than one year. Murray has beaten Tsonga 10 times in their 12 meetings after Monday's victory.

Murray is 8-12 in his head-to-head series against Djokovic.
