China's pair Zheng Jie and Yan Zi rallied to beat Anna Chakvetadze and Elena Vesnina of Russia in three sets to reach the women's doubles semifinals of the French Open yesterday in Paris.

Zheng and Yan, China's first-ever Grand Slam winner at this year's Australian Open, came back from one set down to send packing the Russians 4-6, 6-2 and 6-1.

The fourth seeds will next face Slovakian Daniela Hantuchova and Ai Sugiyama of Japan.
