Tang Wanxin
Tang Wanxin, once ranked among the 50 richest men on China's mainland, was sentenced to eight years in prison in 2004 for manipulating stock prices and illegally raising capital. Tang was the founder of D'Long International Strategic Investment Co., which spanned the machinery, food, construction materials and financial sectors. Tang once held personal assets of 2 billion yuan ($300 million).
