Founded in 1908, South China Agricultural University (SCAU) is a national comprehensive university with long history. Its main campus settles in Wushan, Guangzhou City. It is a multi-disciplinary and comprehensive university with agriculture, engineering, liberal arts, basic sciences and economics as fields of focus. The university has 22 colleges and specializes in biology science.
SCAU has used its strengths to build international academic exchanges and co-operations with other academic organizations in the world, including UNDP, FAO and WFC. It also has established inter-institutional ties with 26 universities from 13 countries in Europe, America, Asia and Oceania.
