According to a monthly survey by China Index Academy, which tracks changes in home prices in 100 Chinese cities, the average price of residential homes in July is 8,874 yuan (US$1,379) per square meter, up 0.21 percent than in June.
Among the 100 cities surveyed, Shenzhen topped the list with the highest home prices at 25,808 yuan (US$4,011) per square meter in July, followed by Shanghai at 23,856 yuan (US$3,707), Beijing at 22,896 yuan (US$3,558).
